WEBVISIONS ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY
WEBVISIONS SERVICES are intended for bona fide and proper use in accordance with this ACCEPTABLE Use Policy.
As a Webvisions Customer, you are not permitted to use any WEBVISIONS SERVICE for any illegal, abusive, or unethical activity.
Illegal, abusive or unethical activities may include, but are not limited to, pornography, obscenity, nudity, violations of privacy, piracy, third party property,
defamation, hacking, computer virus, gambling, or promotion of gambling, terrorist and any harassing or harmful materials or uses as determined by WEBVISIONS.
As a Webvisions Customer, you agree to adhere to all policies listed on http://www.webvisions.com.my/faqs/policies. Specifically,
the following policies are to be adhered strictly to:
- Anti Spam/Virus Policy
- Technical Support Policy
- Billing Policy
- Domain Registration Policy
- Bots Policy
WEBVISIONS does NOT allow IRC Related (Bots or ANY IRC related activities), Banking, HYIP, Rolex Sale, Bittorrent sites on its services.
WEBVISIONS does not allow political or religious related content on its services unless explicitly approved by Webvisions.
You agree to indemnify and hold WEBVISIONS harmless from any claim resulting from your publication or otherwise use of illegal, abusive, or unethical materials.
WEBVISIONS cannot and does not pre-screen content posted hosted using its services but WEBVISIONS reserves the right (but not the obligation) in its sole discretion to
reject, move or remove any materials which are illegal, abusive or unethical, without being liable to you in any way for any loss arising from such rejection or removal.
WEBVISIONS also reserves the right to reject, move or remove any material if required by any regulatory authority or court of law. WEBVISIONS will make reasonable effort to
alert you to such activities when discovered. However, WEBVISIONS is not required to give such notice before deactivating your use of our services if, in our discretion,
your use constitutes or results in illegal, abusive, or unethical activities.
To protect our equipment against spam, unsolicited email, viruses, hackers or activities which Webvisions considers unethical, Webvisions reserves the right to ban any IPs,
domains or computers whether within or outside of its network from accessing any computers or equipment of its network. This includes scanning of any data that enters our
network and all server logs for such content and banning them when Webvisions deems appropriate.
You agree to WEBVISIONS' use of Antispam solutions to protect yourself and WEBVISIONS against spam, uce and viruses.
If a WEBVISIONS SERVICE is disabled or banned, the regular monthly fees still apply until the WEBVISIONS SERVICE is terminated by the Client or Reseller.
Technical support updates, network maintenance or any system maintenance and changes will be updated
on our website at http://www.webvisions.com.my/latestnews/. On WEBVISIONS' perogative, such
updates will be sent
via email if an issue effects all our customers to a large degree.
You agree not to harass, threaten or abuse authorized representatives of Webvisions, including but not limited to tech support representatives, customer relations
representatives, and sales representatives, or otherwise abuse Webvisions' support services.
WEBVISIONS respects the intellectual property and creation of others, and we expect our customers to do the same. If you believe that your work has been copied in a way
that constitutes copyright, trade mark or other intellectual property infringement, please provide our [Operations Director] with the following information/documents:
- a statutory declaration made under Singapore law, stating -
- that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the intellectual property interest;
- the description of the intellectual property right that you claim has been infringed;
- the description of where the materials that you claim are infringing are located on the site;
- that the use of such materials is not authorized by the intellectual property right owner, its agent, or the law;
- your address, telephone number, and email address; and
- that you have a good faith belief that the making available of the materials on the site constitutes use in a way that amounts to copyright infringement.
Webvisions reserves the right to act accordingly if your server or web site is compromising the resources of our network or other hardware through excessive bandwidth or
other use. Such actions include but are not limited to immediate suspension or termination of your service with Webvisions without prior notification.
