Webvisions’ Virtual Service Switches provide an all-in-one dynamic solution for complex network security needs.

Working together with Inkra Networks, Webvisions allows our hosting customers to consolidate and virtualize multiple security functions including firewall, intrusion prevention, VPN, SSL, load balancing, and more. Inkra’s HardWall (ASIC-based) technology ensures that every customer is hard-ware virtualized and isolated from another customer. This ensures that a DOS attack on one customer will not affect the service level of another customer on the same switch.

For customers who require solid dedicated appliance-like solutions but do not want to pay for dedicated appliances, then Webvisions’ Virtualized Security Service is your choice!

Virtual Firewall

Call or email for prices

The Firewall Virtual Service Module (VSM) operates in conjunction with an ASIC-based Virtual Rack Processor™ for execution and acceleration of security functions such as network address translation (NAT) and port address translation (PAT), connection state tracking, sequence number validation and window size checking. Each virtual firewall is configured with their own unique security policies, and comes with the standard denial of service protection and other general detection such as IP spoofing and URL length checking.

Virtual Intrusion Prevention

Call or email for prices

The intrusion prevention service employs multiple attack detection mechanisms including a rich database of Snort-compatible attack signatures, stateful inspection, deep packet inspection, and anomaly analysis to identify and prevent network attacks. Complementing perimeter and internal firewalls, intrusion prevention provides the second line of defense critical to keeping your network, assets, and data secure.

Virtual VPN

Call or email for prices

The IPSec VPN service ensures remote users can securely communicate with internal devices and applications. The IPSec VPN secures network traffic using IPSec security standards for encryption, authentication, and key management. Using advanced 3DES, AES, and other encryption algorithms, the IPSec VPN service provides state-of-the-art protection for sensitive corporate data.

Virtual SSL Accelerator

Call or email for prices

The SSL accelerator service terminates encrypted connections and offloads SSL transaction overhead from application servers, allowing corporations to secure every networked application, without adding more servers or compromising performance. Supporting multiple encryption protocols, including SSL V2, SSL V3, and TLS V1, the SSL accelerator service can increase performance for any standards-based SSL application or server.

Virtual Server Load Balancing

Call or email for prices

The Server Load Balancer Virtual Service Module (VSM) offers layer 4 through 7 load balancing and content-aware switching across multiple servers. By continuously monitoring server vitals such as availability and server load, it dynamically directs traffic to the optimal server, thus increasing web traffic and maximizing end-user performance.

Virtual Web Accelerator

Call or email for prices

The Web Accelerator VSM improves HTTP transaction performance by off-loading connection overhead from host servers, thereby improving the overall end-user experience without adding additional servers. The Web Accelerator VSM uses connection pooling to intercept and reduce the number of HTTP requests to host servers. Connection pooling maps many short-lived HTTP 1.0 requests into a small number of persistent HTTP 1.1 requests. By reducing the total number of HTTP sessions to the server, the Web Accelerator VSM reduces host server load and free critical server resources for rapid, reliable content delivery to end-users. Additionally, increased session persistence significantly reduces the occurrence of mid-session disconnects due to host server overload.
